Kwoon - Emily was a Queen

You just gotta love this epic post-rock-opera. Very excited to see them play live soon!

Bonobo - Nightlite

Something very different for a change. something very relaxed. love the voice. i feel like a hippie.

As i said before, i am going to a lot of concerts in the last time. at the moment its my nr. one hobby. it got so excessive during the last year, that i decided to document it. i established a ratingsystem, took some pics and videofootage. i need to get started to publish this stuff otherwise i wont be able to catch up with that amount. so very soon you will see some videos, and some words about my concert-experiances in 2012 and of course up to date reviews of recent concerts.

in 2012 i saw more then 150 shows. 2013 started pretty good with already 18 concerts on the list, and it seems to be a good year. just recently i could cross sunn o))) from my "to see live before i die"-list and upcoming tours from swans, motorama and the melvins make me really look forward to the next months.

Watered - Monochrome Nights

Totally solid Postrock from a totally unknown german band. This track has a great suspense curve with a blasting finale. They surely deserve more attention.

Candelilla - 22

I saw this all female group play live, a few days ago, without knowing their songs and was very surprised. They play a totally unique grungy art-rock, which is quite catchy and powerful.

Manicure - The Lights Are On

This is one hell of a catchy song. The new wave/post-punk sound of this moscow based band is also very fresh and unique, cant get enough of them. whats up with modern postpunk from russia, the number of great bands from that country seems unexhaustible. much more to come soon...
